BEHIND THE CRAFT

For all you creatives out there - Artists, designers, makers, and everyone who pours heart and soul into creating - there’s something magical about sharing the story behind your work. The main reason people buy art or craft is when they connect with it emotionally. A Behind the Craft video gives your audience a rare and intimate glimpse into your personal journey: from the spark that first inspired you to create, your experiences along the way, and the path you’ve taken to get where you are today.

This video style captures not just the final piece, but the story that shapes it - showing you at work with your materials, explaining your techniques, and sharing the passion and unique vision that make your craft distinctly yours. Whether you work with paint, clay, fabric, wood, leather, ink, metal - or a mix of them all (why not!) - this is your chance to invite people into your world and connect on a deeper level.

As someone with a real love for everything creative - I know how much heart, time and energy goes into making something. That’s why I’m passionate about helping other people showcase not just the final piece, but the journey behind it.

How it works

We’ll capture a mix of talking-to-camera moments and natural shots of you working on your craft. You'll have the chance to prepare a few scripted lines in advance - similar to a Video Business Card - but the tone stays relaxed and authentic. As you create, you can talk through your process, explain your materials and methods, or share what inspired the piece you're working on. The result is a thoughtful blend of storytelling and behind-the-scenes footage that reveals the meaning behind your work - helping people connect with both the art and the artist.
